Freifeld: Elke Breakage Nik Nak Breakage Halogenix Breakage will play DJ two sets both looking to subvert and surprise Open Ground’s Soundsystem. Moving effortlessly through dub wise styles from drum and bass to dubstep. Award-winning turntablist NikNak set’s are expansive, unique, ambitious. Cutting and scratching field recordings and samples into ambient tracks then mixing hip-hop, dubstep and d&b into high-def club music. Halogenix’s loves to explores new sonic territories within the drum and bass spectrum. With an ability to blend genres with the evolution of drum and bass music, Characterised by its intricate rhythms, lush melodies. Opening and closing the Freifeld is our resident DJ Elke. Chasing vibes across genres and tempos, Elke unearths delicate floaters and bold rollers. Expect multiple spheres of UK-influenced sounds. The night will showcase both established Cav Empt affiliates and emerging talents promising to deliver the kind of boundary-pushing experience that both the clothing label and artists are renowned for.
